The Hardest Working Agent in the Fraser Valley

The last couple of days felt like we were tip-toeing on the surface of the sun. My family and I managed to beat the heat with an A/C machine running full time (although it wasn't really able to keep up) and trips to the beach where we spent many hours submerged in the cool waters. The heat didn't seem to slow my son's energy level down at all though as he had a blast each and every day. These are photos from our trip to Jericho Beach in West Vancouver. A really nice place to bring your family and an excellent place to take a swim and relax.

With a new month also comes eased restrictions! According to the provincial update from June 29th, the criteria for moving to Step 3 as of July 1st is as follows:
  • State of Emergency to be lifted on June 30th at 11:59pm
  • Masks in indoor public spaces will be recommended, but not longer mandated by health order. Some businesses and other public spaces may still require them
  • Gatherings:
    • Personal: Back to normal
    • Indoor: 50 people, or up to 50% capacity, whichever is greater
    • Outdoor: 5,000 people, or up to 50% capacity, whichever is greater
  • Travel across Canada is permitted. Residents will need to check with other provinces' rules and guidelines regarding visitors before travelling
It is exciting to head into July with Step 3 of our province's Restart Plan in place. Our offices and agents continue to follow all necessary safety measures both in the workplace, and at showings in order to practice safe real estate.

That's a Wrap

June has finally come to a close and with it, the extreme heat. And thank goodness too because that seem to last forever. As you can see, we have drastically reduced our sales and listing inventory from last month. We've even had less inventory added than this time last year, which was during a pandemic. Market is continuing to slow so thats good news for everyone as we make our way back to a more normalized experience.
