Continuing to Slow
June is showing signs that this very busy market may be slowing down. However, what is now happening is sellers are starting to list their homes at market values expecting multiple offers well over the asking price; and when they don't receive an ideal price, they simply do not accept and either cancel the listing or raise the asking price. This can and has led to some confusion on the part of buyers as they are left wondering why they weren't able to purchase. Understanding that the market may change drastically week to week is one of the reasons sitting down with a Realtor is vital before deciding to list your home.
